METOGRIND

Fully synthetic grinding fluid used to eliminate the glazing of the grinding wheel reducing the dressing intervals.

METOSYNTH

Metosynth is fully synthetic cutting fluid
concentrate designed for general machining
of Cost Iron, Steel, non-ferrous metals and wherever a translucent solution is necessary.
It is suitable for self contained and centralised cooling systems and has found particular success where there are problems of contamination by machine tool lubricants, and persistent corrosion.

METOCUT 550-555

The Metocut range of products are cooling
and lubricating fluids with high level of Extreme Pressure additives. They are excellent for all
metal cutting and forming operations of
stainless steel, high temperature alloys
yellow metal alloys and aluminium where
highest precision is required. The surfaces of work pieces which are machined with Metocut need no after-treatment. They appear
to have been polished. Metocut permits closest
and unvaryingly uniform tolerances, allows
greater operating speeds and feeds combined with a remarkable improvement in tool life
and eliminates pick-up on the tools and work pieces.

Metocut 550 and the slightly more fluid
Metocut 550-Special are developed especially
for the heavier operations:
40 threading, thread-cutting (up to 12mm)
rolling and pressing, broaching, hobbing
stamping up to approx, 6 mm' fineblanking
above 4 mm and drawing.

Metocut 555 is indicated for lighter cutting and forming operations involving austenitic martensitic, ferritic steel and titanium alloys.
Machining metal on automatics, thread-cutting rolling and cutting (up to 5mm), gear cutting and fineblanking up to 4mm.

Metocut 555-Special is used with particular
effectiveness for very light fineblanking
operations as well as for drawing and cold
pressing of thin and soft materials. It equally
serves as diluting agent for all metal working
lubricants of a higher viscosity. These products are available in a Chlorine-free version
maintaining the same performance as the Chlorine type.

METOCUT G80

Low viscosity neat oil developed for very
fine stamping operations. Gear Cutting
Hobbing and Sawing of sophisticated alloys.

METODRAW G-50 G-100 G-200

The Metodraw compounds are recommended for drawing and forming operations and were designed for the most difficult operations specially with tough and hard to machine steels and heat and corrosion resistant alloys. The Metodraw compounds permit greater degrees
of deformation for deep drawing, greatest
possible reduction in tube and wire drawing
besides highest drawing speeds, pick-up is
completely eliminated and an excellent shiny finish is produced, obviating the need
for after-treatment in most cases.

Metodraw G-50, the least viscous type for
stamping, drawing, drilling and tapping
operations as well as for thread rolling in hard alloys and thread cutting up to 12mm.
This product can be pumped in most cases with the normal pumping equipment for cutting fluids.

Metodraw G-100 of medium viscosity is designed for use in difficult drawing, stamping and thread
cutting operations (12-40mm), punching, forming as well as for deep drawing and tube or wire drawing. It is also often added as an extreme pressure additive to other cutting oils to reduce the working temperature. Metodraw G-100 can
only be pumped with gear or positive displacement pumps.

Metodraw G-200
This extremely high viscosity product is
dramatically successful in various drawing
forming and stamping operations and for tapping involving threads of diameters of 40mm or greater. It is a unique wire and tube drawing compound especially recommended for stainless steel and titanium alloys, thus
eliminating all pre-treatments and pre-coating phases. Degrees of deformation of between 40 and 50% at the first pass are being achieved without any pre-treatment. Metodraw G-200 can
only be pumped with gear- or screw pumps.

METOKLENE

Special lubricant system cleaning fluid and disinfectant. This fluid is powerful: it is designed
not only to loosen and remove fatty deposits etc that have built up over a period of time but also to decontaminate
completely the machine tool system in so far as the possible build up of
bacteria and fungi are concerned.

METOSLIDE SLIDEWAY OIL

Metoslide lubrication oil have been developed to give excellent lubrication on machine slideways. Special attention has been given towards the compatibility with Metoproducts range of water soluble coolant eliminating demulsification problems.
